New employee training program with a €750 training allowance

A new subsidized training program for private-sector employees is launching, with the aim of upgrading skills and obtaining certification in modern fields of knowledge. Participants can receive a training allowance of up to 750€.

This initiative involves providing 150 hours of theoretical training to unemployed individuals and private-sector employees over the age of 18, leading to the acquisition of digital, green, and financial literacy skills, as well as corresponding certification through independent certification bodies. The program is expected to train 170,000 beneficiaries over the age of 18.
Objective of the Action
The purpose of the training programs is to help employees acquire new skills (upskilling) and retrain (reskilling) in digital, green, and financial literacy skills.
Beneficiaries – Eligibility
Eligibility to participate in training programs and, consequently, the right to apply for enrollment in the Registry of Beneficiaries to be established by DYPA, is held by 170,000 beneficiaries, who are unemployed individuals and private-sector employees.
Employed and unemployed individuals who meet at least the following requirements are eligible to participate in the program:
· They must be over 18 years of age.
· They must have completed at least compulsory education.
· They had not participated in previous DYPA voucher rounds. (NOT applicable those who have already participated in the DYPA Voucher Program for the Unemployed or Employed under Call for Proposals 16913.)

Structure of the Training Program

The initiative includes:

  • A 150-hour training program.
  • Certification in digital, green, and financial literacy skills.
  • Education allowance of 750€.

The continuing education programs will be delivered through distance learning. The continuing education programs last 150 hours and are conducted remotely.
